Thank you for spending an afternoon with me and for the opportunity to photograph your sweet baby girl. She's the daughter of a wonderful couple and the granddaughter to very dear friends of our family. We can't wait to watch her grow over the years!

I've been photographing this family since before their first son was born. One of the things I love the most about my job is watching my little clients and their families grow! My favorite images are of Jett loving on his little brother. Thank you Fruge family!

Before I was a Mom...

Before I was a Mom,
I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep..

Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt.!
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body..
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,
the heartache,
the wonderment
or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much,
before I was a Mom.

Oh so sweet

I had so much fun photographing this little girl and meeting her parents. They are smitten over sweet baby 'B' and with good reason, she's precious!!

It's no secret, I love photographing newborns. I love the special relationship between a parent and their child, especially just after their baby is born. Having a baby is a miracle! I'm honored that you chose me to capture these special moments with your baby girl.

This one's for her dad who proudly wears this uniform.

Little Slugger

I met this darling little guy when he was 3 weeks and again at 6 weeks and he'd already changed. People often ask me when is the best time to photograph my baby/child? My reply "now". Especially when they are young they will change often. You'll look back and be amazed at how much your child has grown!

Baby "S" - 3 weeks

Meet this sweet boy. He made his grand entrance into this world in late December almost 2 weeks late! His mom is a real trooper!
